Active preparations for The International 10 Dota 2 tournament began at the National Stadium in Bucharest.

In particular, it was decided to close the public park, which is adjacent to the arena, from September 27 to October 20, due to preparations for the event.

At the same time, 6.3 thousand cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Romania on Monday, which is the highest figure in the last ten months. More cases were recorded only in November 2020, when the daily increase in the number of infected ranged from 9 to 10 thousand people.

Tournament tickets are still on sale. There are no plans to limit the occupancy of the National Stadium. As a precaution, only vaccinated fans will be allowed into the arena, who will have to wear masks.

The International 10 is the largest esports event of the year, and of course it welcomes Dota 2 bets… The event, which will take place from October 7 to October 17, will be attended by 18 teams, two of them will represent the CIS – Russian Virtus.pro and Team Spirit. The International 10 will have a prize pool of $ 40 million.

In 2021, the pandemic also made its own adjustments. Initially, the event was supposed to take place in Stockholm, but in June Valve refused to hold it in the Swedish capital, as the local authorities did not want to contribute to the organization.

Bookmaker analysts call the Chinese team PSG.LGD the favorite of The International 10. Application of the official bookmaker Winline accepts bets on his victory with odds 2.6. The five main contenders also include Virtus.pro, whose chances are estimated with a coefficient of 10. Team Spirit’s quotes are noticeably lower – a coefficient of 26.
