What graphics card will Mass Effect: Andromeda use?

Recently, the team conducted tests, according to the results of which they found out on which video card the new Mass Effect: Andromeda works best: on which video card to play best and what is better not to even try, without expecting a stable frame rate.

So, due to the fact that they decided to create Andromeda on the modern game engine Frostbite 3 – an engine from the DICE studio, which a year ago surprised everyone with the speed and quality of Star Wars: Battlefront 2015 – Mass Effect: Andromeda, a wonderful engine too did not disappoint. The game really looks great, unless, of course, looking at the faces of the characters.

Nevertheless, unlike Star Wars: Battlefront 2015 and even the same Battlefield 1, the new Mass Effect is much more spacious and “big” than anything that came out before on the Frostbite 3 engine. The novelty has large locations where you can freely ride on vehicles and cross visual horizons. So it is quite obvious that the size of the game world is of paramount importance. In Star Wars, battles were only 20 by 20, and although the “Battle” had 32 by 32 cards, it was still a closed arena. Therefore, a completely logical question arises: on what hardware will the new game allow itself to be touched?

Mass Effect: Andromeda minimum system requirements:

: “64th versions of Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.”

✔: “Intel Core i5 3570 @ 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-6350 @ 3.9 GHz”.

✔: “8 GB”.

✔: “Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon 7850 with 2GB of memory.”

✔: “At least 55 GB.”

✔: “eleven”.

Recommended system requirements for Mass Effect: Andromeda:

: “64th versions of Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.”

✔: “Intel Core i7-4790 @ 3.6 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4 GHz”.

The system requirements for Mass Effect: Andromeda are quite comfortable for the modern player. But what to do with the video card, because the range from GTX 1060 to RX 480 is too unusual? Below are the tests of the game in different resolution formats, but at the same time on the same system and with extremely high graphics settings.

In this case, do not be alarmed, suddenly your video card is at the end of this list. The bottom line is that all these tests were carried out exclusively at the maximum graphics settings, but simply with different resolutions. Therefore, if you turn off “AA” or “NVAO” + try to reduce the filtering of textures, then you can safely expect a half or even double performance gain. Of course, it will not be as beautiful as in the screenshot above, but for that you will get stability.
