A story with a happy ending: John DiMaggio will still return to voice Bender in the new season of Futurama

The actor himself announced this through his Twitter. Previously, DiMaggio’s participation was in doubt, as he demanded a salary increase for both himself and his colleagues.

I’m back baby! So damn grateful for the love and support from fans and colleagues throughout this time (especially my wife Kate) and I can’t wait to get back to work with my Futurama family,” DiMaggio said. “#Bendergate is officially over, so put it on the back of the shelf for Christmas decorations, or maybe in that kitchen drawer with all the other crap you put in there like old, unusable glue, or maybe even put it in jar in which you save farts. As you wish, I don’t care, but I think you get the point. I’m back baby! Bite my shiny metal ass! – John DiMaggio, actor

Streaming service Hulu has ordered 20 episodes so far. The premiere will take place next year.
