A little over a year ago deep silver reported that Dead Island 2 not cancelled, but then there was silence again regarding the sequel to the survival zombie action game originally developed by Techlanda team that recently released Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
Henderson stated that work on Dead Island 2 is progressing well, and that the gameplay of the second part will be very similar to the gameplay of the original game, but with a number of improvements. The game will include several scenarios, the main setting is expected to be the Beverly Hills area, and the release may take place between the fourth quarter of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023.
