A new video demonstration of the upcoming fan-made remake of the Mortal Kombat Trilogy fighting game, which is being created on the Unreal Engine 5 engine, has surfaced on the Web. In it, you can see a fragment of the battle in the updated Balcony Arena, which is geographically located in Shao Kahn’s palace.

A petition to create a remake, posted on Change.org, caused a wide public outcry. Moreover, it attracted the attention of the father of the franchise, Ed Boon, who gave his blessing to the developer Eyeballistic and wished him creative success.

Once the petition reaches 100,000 signatures, Eyeballistic promises to contact Warner Bros. directly. for help in finalizing the project.
