Today, Techland released a new patch for Dying Light 2: Stay Human PC. The Dying Light 2 update fixes the annoying death loop bug and brings a few more fixes to the game. Read the official patch notes.

  • Fixed loop of death bug. It prevents new player cases and fixes existing ones.
  • Added a save backup system that allows players to roll back their game progress and their inventory to a safe save point in the last game’s storyline.
  • Added support for BLOCK, ACTIVE ADDITIVE and JUMP ATTACK overrides on the keyboard.

The Save Backup System is an in-game feature that allows you to load a save based on the previous progress of the main storyline. Performing a rollback will return you to the game state from the backup save. You unlock new save backups as you progress through the main storyline.

In terms of consoles, Techland mentioned that a patch for consoles is on the way, and it’s currently in the process of being certified. For those who play, don’t forget that the free Authority DLC is already available, and a new expansion called “Ronin” is on the way.

Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One.
