Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary Website Hints at Final Fantasy 7 Remake 2 Announcement

Recently, Square Enix launched a special website, which is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the popular Final Fantasy series. Now there is nothing remarkable even for a fan of the franchise, but very soon everything can change. During the year, the publisher plans to publish there the loudest and most important announcements that will affect Final Fantasy 16 and the continuation of the remake of the seventh part.

The site now mentions the imminent release of Final Fantasy Origin: Stranger of Paradise and the mention of other franchise projects. Foreign journalists are sure that within a few months they will post information about Final Fantasy 7 Remake 2 there. Lead game developer Yoshinori Kitase hinted at this, in addition, Square Enix promised to share news about Final Fantasy 16 in the spring.

If rumors are to be believed, Final Fantasy 16’s release will be pushed back to next year, but this year will be full of other major developments in the massive franchise.
