When Forza Horizon 5 launches on Xbox and PC in just a few days, series veterans will know that there are plenty of free-to-play rewards to come from the always generous series. Among them will be the new Dia de Muertos, adorning one of the world’s most beloved American-made cars, the Corvette.
Xbox has teamed up with actor Xolo Maridueña to develop a special Mexican-inspired holiday livery that gives living people a chance to reflect on their lost loved ones. In Forza Horizon 5, traditionally vibrant colors and holiday iconography are seen from wing to bumper on the 2020 Chevy Corvette Stingray.
The vehicle will be released to all Forza Horizon 5 players shortly after the game’s global launch on November 9th. For those who are still playing Forza Horizon 4, the car is already available as a free gift. In both cases, players only need to unlock the first Player’s House and check their in-game messages before the end of the calendar year in order to receive their gift.
The free Dia de Muertos car will be decorated with symbols such as marigold flowers and hummingbirds.
Forza Horizon 5 launches on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC on November 9th. Players who pre-ordered the Premium Edition can launch their engines earlier on November 5th. It will also be available on November 9th for all Game Pass subscribers.
