Over the past few days, there has been a lot of talk on social media about Projekt Z, a new first-person shooter that has managed to capture the attention of fans with a series of gameplay footage.
Projekt Z is a first-person shooter with a strong co-op action set during World War II. The goal of the game is to face the hordes of the undead, and in order to do so, players must navigate very large maps where they can unlock fortifications and upgrades. One of the elements that makes the game stand out the most is the distribution model: Projekt Z will be a free-to-play game, and the developers have confirmed that the base game is free to download. The monetization system will be based on the sale of the Battle Pass, which will also include free rewards, and the distribution of paid expansions with a story focus.
The game is currently on Kickstarter and the fundraising campaign is still far from hitting its goal of around $100,000, which is to be raised no later than Sunday May 28, 2022.
The final version of Projekt Z should appear by the end of 2024 on PC, Xbox and Google Stadia.
