How informs The Deadline publication, citing official documents, has launched a full-fledged sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong. There are no details about the new battle of huge monsters yet, but the filming process should start in the second half of 2022 in Australia.
The studio will use already prepared locations from the film “Kong: Skull Island”. About 500 professional actors of various sizes are promised to be involved in the filming process and an additional $12 million will be allocated. According to a statement from the Australian film industry, the new film wants to raise the bar for scale.
The film “Godzilla vs. Kong” was released in 2021 against the backdrop of a pandemic and severe restrictions, despite this, the tape managed to earn a decent box office and become successful.
