Even at the production stage, a new tape from Marvel manages to set records. According to director James Gunn, the third part of “Guardians of the Galaxy” set a world record for the use of practical effects, namely makeup.
The director gave full credit to Legacy Effects, which is responsible for the make-up and costumes for the new film. Guardians of the Galaxy Part 3 beat Jim Carrey’s The Grinch, which held the record for 20 years. Apparently, in the new picture, the authors focus on practical effects, and not on computer graphics.
The premiere of the new “Guardians of the Galaxy” is scheduled for the end of spring 2023.
