Guilty Gear Strive season 2 will feature crossplay between consoles and PC

Following the conclusion of the ARCREVO America 2021 finale, developer Arc System Works has confirmed that it has begun development on the second season of Guilty Gear Strive, revealing new details about what’s in store for players.

In a press release published shortly after the finale, Arc System confirmed that a new season is in development and will feature a total of four new characters. What’s more, the team has also confirmed that cross-platform play between the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam versions of Guilty Gear Strive is on the way. In addition, the team said that additional updates are currently being worked on that will improve server performance, reduce server connection time, and stabilize network modes.

No details have been released on when we can expect these updates or Season 2 to arrive, although it should be a while before more details are released.

Guilty Gear Strive is available now on PS4, PS5 and PC (via Steam).
