On the heels of the return of Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Wilson Fisk in Hawkeye, it looks like another Netflix hero could be making a comeback soon.
Rumors have been circulating for years that Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as The Punisher, and while Marvel hasn’t made any official announcements yet, known insider MyTimeToShineH claims he will indeed return. And although the insider did not say anything about in which project we will see him again, he assures that the actor will indeed return to his previous role.
One might, for example, assume that the TV series Moon Knight, as well as the upcoming movie Blade, would be perfect for this. But wherever he appears, the mere realization that Bernthal will return as the Punisher is of great interest.
The actor recently expressed interest in returning to the role only if he can play the dark and violent version of The Punisher again. If the rumor is true, will Marvel Studios grant Bernthal’s wish?
