EA’s dodgebrawl Knockout City is being updated to get the most out of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles | S, including support for 4K graphics and up to 120 FPS.

Following the release of the patch on November 2, players can select Performance and Quality modes in the settings menu. These options include the following:

PS5: native 4K at 60fps or 1440p (upscaled to 4K) at 120fps

Xbox Series X: native 4K @ 60fps or 1620p (upscaled to 4K) @ 120fps

Velan Studios Says Players Can Look For “Richer Graphics” On PS5 And Xbox Series X | S. “We’ve enhanced our lighting with additional power from next generation consoles, adding features such as new lights, ball lights, particle lights, improved global illumination and local light shadows,” the studio said. “Each of these additional sources gives the environment more reactions to how light illuminates paths or casts shadows.”

The textures have been improved too. Higher quality textures were previously only available on PC and Xbox One X, but with the update they will be expanded to PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. “This subtle change creates a more realistic environment with ‘tactile’ surfaces that you can almost slide your hand over as you run after your opponent,” the studio said.
