Blizzard has announced that the upcoming 2.4 update for Diablo 2: Resurrected will launch tomorrow. According to the team, this new update brings a lot of fixes and tweaks to the game. In addition, he will introduce a new Ladder system.
As Blizzard points out:
“The launch of Ladder is an optional ranked competitive game system with a number of modes available to choose from with new Ladder-specific characters. Each mode will have its own leaderboard where players compete to gain experience strategically over a limited period of time while having access to Ladder-specific content. When the Ladder Season ends, the leaderboard rankings will be reset and characters will enter No Ladder Mode, giving players the opportunity to keep their hard-earned valuable trophies while the new Ladder Season awaits.”
Update 2.4 will also fix some performance and graphics issues. For example, it adds a VFX quality option for PC players. It also optimizes stock move activities to reduce latency.
Moreover, this patch will further improve NVIDIA’s DLSS. In more detail, it will fix artifacts that may occur on certain visual effects when using DLSS. It will also fix a DLSS-related halo artifact that could occur on moving objects when the game camera is stationary.
