Director Michael Bay in the modern film industry became famous as the director of “Transformers”. He directed as many as five parts of this series of spectacular blockbusters about the battles of large robots. As Michael Bay himself admits, the franchise should have stopped at only three films.
According to the director, Steven Spielberg, who served as producer, suggested that he stop at the trilogy. After the release of the third part of Transformers, the franchise was on the wave of great commercial success, but managed to tire some of the creators and viewers. Michael Bay initially heeded the advice of his colleague, but the studio managed to persuade the director to make two more films.
The director does not deny that the fourth and fifth parts were technically worse than the trilogy, but he was still glad to work on them.
