Just a month away from the release of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin for Nintendo Switch and PC. The sequel to the 2016 3DS game, Monster Hunter Stories 2 is a turn-based spin-off with a loop that can be compared in some ways to Pokemon. If you’re looking forward to Monster Hunter Stories 2, pre-orders are available in multiple retail stores ahead of its July 9th release. There are several editions to choose from, as well as a cool pre-order bonus and new Amiibos that interact with the game.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 Amiibo – $ 20-23 apiece
Three new Amiibos will join the Monster Hunter lineup at launch: Razewing Ratha, Ena, and Tsukino. Each Amiibo unlocks a set of layered armor for your character. Amiibo pre-orders have yet to be released. Ena and Tsukino Amiibo cost $ 20 each, while the Razewing Rathalos is slightly more expensive at $ 23.
As a new rider with a legendary namesake, you quickly find yourself in a dangerous situation. Your character meets a Viverian girl named Ena, who has a Rathalos egg. You help Ene protect the egg by uncovering the mystery of the disappearance of the Rathalos. Throughout the adventure, you tame monsters (called Monsties), which you can then ride and lead into battle. The traditional turn-based combat system is very different from the main series, but the original version for the 3DS was quite fun.
If you link your Monster Hunter Rise save file to Monster Hunter Stories 2, you will receive an exclusive Layered Armor set.
