NetEase Inc. announced that its gaming division NetEase Games has acquired Quantic Dream SA, one of the world’s leading independent video game developers.
- Quantic Dream will be the first NetEase Games studio in Europe.
- The studio will continue to develop high quality AAA video games.
- Quantic Dream will continue to operate independently, focusing on creating and publishing its video games across all platforms.
- The company will also continue to support and publish games developed by third parties.
Quantic Dream is known for games such as Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, Detroit: Become Human and the in-development Star Wars: Eclipse. In addition, as a publisher, the company will release the previously announced games Under The Waves and Dustborn.
