New LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Video Dedicated to Creating the Game World

Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, LEGO Group And Lucasfilm Games released a new behind-the-scenes video that highlights the variety of content and the sense of freedom players can expect in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

The development team shares their process of bringing the entire Star Wars galaxy to life with live versions of iconic locations found in the nine Skywalker Saga films, all complemented by classic LEGO humor at every turn. The video also shows the work of implementing effects, differentiating the colors of the sky and drawing attention to every little detail not seen in previous LEGO video games.

Players will be free to explore the hub worlds from familiar locations such as Naboo, Endor, Tatooine, and the cloud city of Bespin to unlock new vehicles and playable characters, including Mama the Hutt, Yaddle, and Baba Freak. Players may also find that collecting kyber bricks on different planets is the main motive for deviating from the main path of the game, which are used as currency for character upgrades ranging from improving Force abilities to increasing blaster firepower.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is scheduled to release on April 5, 2022 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
