Petition on the site Change.org asking Sony to develop Days Gone 2 nearly reached 150,000 signatures. To be more precise, at the time of writing this news, we are at around 145,477.
As you remember, about a month ago Days Gone director Jeff Ross expressed his displeasure at Sony’s attitude towards the game and the lack of interest in the sequel. This is because, although the game received mixed reviews from critics, it still sold well.
Months before the Ross-related events, Days Gone fans decided to launch the aforementioned petition, drawing strength from the director’s story, garnering a large number of new signatures over the course of several weeks.
According to Ross, the sequel was supposed to improve on the first chapter in a number of ways. Unfortunately, he was not allowed to do so and ended up leaving Bend Studios. Who knows if the petition will really make a difference, or if it will turn out to be just a desperate attempt to get through to Sony.
In the meantime, remember that Days Gone is playable on PC, PS4, and PS5.
