Players called Combat Master Online FPS a clone of Modern Warfare 2019

Activision has its own bets on mobile gaming with Call of Duty Mobile, but another company has entered the mobile space with a first-person shooter called Combat Master Online FPS, which Call of Duty fans are already calling the obvious mobile clone of Modern Warfare 2019.

Combat Master Online FPS doesn’t just have a similar gameplay and almost identical Gunsmith feature to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but many of the assets for the game’s menu look like direct copies of Modern Warfare 2019.

Content creator ProReborn tweeted a video showing them navigating menus and playing a match with Combat Master, and showing nearly identical animations and text from the Modern Warfare Action Report post-game.

Developed by Alfa Bravo Inc, this Call of Duty clone currently has over 500,000 downloads on the Google Play store with a 4.5 star rating. The description of the game boasts that Combat Master is “fast-paced, action-packed combat” and that the game was created by “true enthusiasts with a special love for firearms and the gaming community.”

The game is free to download, and while the developers claim that Combat Master does not have “loot boxes and money extraction mechanics,” microtransactions are priced between $ 19.99 and $ 39.99 per bundle. As of October 27, Combat Master Online FPS is still available to download and play, but it is unknown how long Activision will allow this apparent clone to exist without any legal action.
