In financial advice take-two, published last month, may have hinted at plans to release Grand Theft Auto 6 by March 2024, one analyst suggested. In January, the parent company Rockstar announced its intention to acquire Zynga in a $12.7 billion deal.
As part of the announcement, the company predicted a CAGR of 14% through 2024. As noted by the portal Axios this led industry analysts to believe that the publisher was planning a major release for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024.
Last July, Tom Henderson stated that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released in 2024 or 2025, which is partly due to the fact that Rockstar pays particular attention to employee well-being after criticism of its perceived crunch culture in development. His claims were backed up by well-informed Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, as well as VGC sources.
Currently Rockstar preparing for release Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X on March 15th.
