Polish Game Development Group 1C Entertainment SA announced today that she bought it Tencent.
They entered into a deal, reached at the end of November, in which Tencent agreed to buy back all of the shares previously held by previous parent company 1C Entertainment. 1C, giving her a majority stake in the company headquartered in Warsaw and all of its subsidiaries. The deal also stipulated that 1C Entertainment and all subsidiaries with “1C” in their names would be renamed within six months of the deal’s completion. Details of the rebranding will be communicated to the press and partners separately.
1C Entertainment stated that it is looking forward to joining the Tencent family and expects to take advantage of the numerous synergies between the two companies.
