Striking Distance Studios’ upcoming horror The Callisto Protocol hit the cover of Game Informer
Glen Scofield has spent the last few decades working with some of the biggest publishers on their biggest blockbusters. However, after leaving Activision, Sledgehammer Games and the Call of Duty franchise a few years ago, he wanted to do something new – something uncompromising. The result was Striking Distance Studios, a new development studio that Scofield co-founded with several industry veterans he’s worked with throughout his illustrious career. Although Scofield’s most recent work is with the Call of Duty series, he is perhaps best known for his status as the creator of another beloved franchise: Dead Space.

In the first game of Striking Distance Studios, the team uses the experience and knowledge of the Scofield team. Comparisons to Dead Space are inevitable, but make no mistake: Callisto Protocol is a very different beast. Portal journalists have witnessed exclusive never-before-seen gameplay footage in which our protagonist, Jacob Lee, tries to survive the horrors of Jupiter’s second largest moon and its suspicious prison. In the near future they will publish various materials on the game.
