The Elder Scrolls Online Receives Updated Graphics For Xbox Series X | S

The latest Elder Scroll Online trailer showcased a new visual update for current consoles during an Xbox press conference.

During the Microsoft E3 2021 press conference, Bethesda showed off the latest trailer for a new and improved console update for The Elder Scrolls Online. On June 15, the new update will introduce a host of new visual and performance improvements for Bethesda’s multiplayer game on Xbox Series X | S.

In the new trailer, we saw the latest visual update for Tamriel, which featured areas like Skyrim and Cyrodil. ESO has evolved significantly over the years, adding new content, groundbreaking expansions, such as Tamriel’s open update that made research more open. ESO recently released the Blackwood update, which adds new quests related to Oblivion Gate and the Dead Demon Dagon.

While this trailer aired during the Microsoft conference and focused on the Xbox platform, this update will also apply to the release of the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will have a dedicated performance mode in which the game runs at 1080p / 60fps, and also a precision mode that can boost visuals to native 4K resolution when run at 30fps. For Xbox Series S users, the game will run at 1080p / 60fps in performance mode and 1440p / 30fps in precision mode.
