The network has found an early prototype of Cyberpunk 2077

Attentive users once again found evidence that the latest game from CD Projekt RED has passed an extremely difficult stage of development. The network drew attention to several videos from dataminers who carefully studied Cyberpunk 2077. As it turned out, two versions of the prototype game from 2016 and 2018 were found in the game files.

It is noted that back in 2016, a fully working prototype of Cyberpunk 2077 was created on the basis of the RedEngine 3 engine. The game implemented basic first-person gameplay and the city of Night City, but so far without textures.

Judging by the published data, the project has made great progress in development only in 2018. The necessary textures, objects and other details appeared in the game files, but there were still many elements missing. Using the 2018 build, enthusiasts tried to recreate the first trailers of the game. They succeeded only in part. This version of Cyberpunk 2077 lacks some objects, and visually the game is far behind the release version.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC and consoles. Recall that not so long ago, an insider revealed plans for the release of large-scale add-ons for the game, which should be released towards the end of the year.
