As previously reported, this year’s launcher Bethesda.net will be closed and a free migration to Steam for all games and data associated with accounts registered on the platform. Migration from Bethesda.net to Steam will begin April 27 with the gradual removal of services from the old launcher, which in the meantime will be active directly on Steam.

Bethesda announced today that Fallout 76 will be running on Bethesda.net for a few more weeks, but with May 11 the game will no longer work through the old launcher, so all players will need to switch to Steam. The company is pushing users to migrate as soon as possible in order to avoid negative consequences when switching from one side to another.

Starting April 27, the migration will be active via a specific option directly in the Bethesda Launcher, and players will simply need to follow the provided instructions to complete it. For those who do it sooner, Fallout 76 also has rewards for the 10 ranks on the Season 9 leaderboard, which will become available for use with the launch of this game.
