According to Naoki Yoshida, the game’s producer, the Final Fantasy XVI trailer shown at The Game Awards 2022 was rendered in real time.
Yoshida notes that the title will unlock the full potential of the PlayStation 5 console and show all its power. In addition, according to the producer, there will be no downloads in the game.
Final Fantasy XVI will release in June 2023 exclusively on PS5. Later, the game may appear on other platforms, in particular on the PC.
