“The squirrel found a nut”: the creators of “Ice Age” touchingly said goodbye to the audience

Twenty years after the premiere of the cartoon “Ice Age”, its creators decided to say a touching goodbye to the franchise and its heroes. Artists from the Blue Sky studio have published a short animated video in which Belka is finally allowed to get the much coveted nut.

The squirrel from “Ice Age” was not a direct participant in the events of the cartoon and appeared in small episodes where they showed her chasing a nut. With a special video, the authors of the cartoon thus wanted to say goodbye to their creation and partly “please” the audience.

Blue Sky Studios was part of 20th Century Fox, which was taken over by Disney. After reorganization events and several failed projects, the studio was abolished and completely ceased to exist.
