Trailer and technical details of the next version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The improved version of the game will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series on December 14th.

CD Projekt RED has unveiled a next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, and owners of the game on PC, PS4 and Xbox One will receive an upgrade to the enhanced version for free.

With the update on PC, new graphics settings will become available, which include DLSS and FSR scaling, SSR reflections for all surfaces, RTGO global illumination. In addition, the computer version will receive an alternative view from behind Geralt’s shoulder.

On consoles, Performance and Quality graphics modes will be available with increased detail, support for global illumination, and other options. Players will be able to choose between improved graphics and high fps, and the PS5 will also add support for DualSense gamepad features.

A photo mode with many settings will become available on all platforms. In addition, the developers have added some gameplay improvements, such as more convenient switching between characters, changing the character’s movement speed, auto-hide the interface, and so on. Finally, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will feature a new quest based on the Netflix series The Witcher, after completing which players will receive new armor and other rewards.

The release of the next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take place on December 14th.
