Horizon Forbidden West continues its evolutionary path through a rather intensive release of corrective patches, as evidenced by the release of a new patch 1.08 in these hours, which is intended to fix several problems that have arisen in the game, especially in terms of bugs and various errors.
After patch 1.07 which improved performance and other features, today’s update seems to be more focused on fixing standard issues like a few bugs that apparently trigger various quests in the game.
In fact, the official patch notes available here, are a long list of fixes that apply mostly to specific moments in Horizon Forbidden West, including both main and side quests. Among them, we can find several solutions to bugs that could cause great harm in the progress of the game, including the disappearance of elements, blocks, the disappearance of characters and elements, and various other inconveniences discovered in these first weeks after launch.
More generally, in addition to various interventions on individual quests, patch 1.08 also fixes some graphical issues and improves interlude scenes, as well as shadow and cloud features, as well as performance improvements.
