The Saint’s Row series has come a long way in the gaming industry. It all started with a very boring clone of the famous GTA, but already approaching the third part of the game, the developers were able to create their own unique and inimitable taste. If the famous GTA was too serious, Saint’s Row began to turn into a crazier game. In the last part of the series, the developers made the protagonist the president of the United States at all, and then smashed their native Earth with the hands of some not entirely understandable aliens. Further, the action of the game generally goes into the universe, which is more like a kind of Matrix, where the hero received not only new weapons, but also unique skills. Then the question arose, where to move the series further? The answer was millet – to hell (and that’s literally).
The new full-fledged game Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell begins without any preludes or stories. The main character of the series is simply kidnapped by Satan himself, in order to later pass him off as his daughter – of course it sounds strange, but it is so. And of course, to save the main character, someone more cool must go. Johnny Gath becomes him (the most dangerous mafia according to Saint’s Row). Fans for such a turn of events are waiting for some crazy ideas, plot twists, but these dreams were not destined to come true.
And the whole point is that Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell is the same Saint’s Row 4, only devoid of everything that was in the original, except for the mechanics, of course. Those who are familiar with the game series know that there were tasks in the game that gave experience, influence and money in the end! There is no such thing in the cult sequel. And you know, this is without any exaggeration. Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell is just a sandbox in which you have to complete the same tasks, thereby attracting the attention of Satan, so that in the end you will meet him face to face and shoot his horned head.
Of course, it’s worth noting that the basic mechanics of the game are still strong despite the fact that the game now lacks any features. Therefore, the game can somehow still be kept in the game a little. In the game, it is as if you fall into a hypnotic state, you begin to select the legal territory of local demons, demons and other offspring. Collect bonuses for power-up, select checkpoints and complete air missions. And it is worth noting that the developers performed the air missions at their best! In the first minutes of the game, you will be able to soar in the hellish sky – and this is perhaps the coolest part of the game. Due to the ability to fly, I really want to complete more air missions or go through more difficult tasks. But again, this is temporary confusion. Sooner or later, the hypnotic state passes and more and more you want to play what the developers for some reason have taken away from the game. For starters, I want to see a really dumb and ingenious storyline! Where would be cool and interesting characters!
With such a task, one involuntarily recalls a healthy wrestler who constantly inspiringly told everyone that “there are barbarians at the gates! We need a commander, not a philosopher!” From such memories you will involuntarily smile and remember the duet of the protagonist and Johnny, who sang along in the song of Paula Abdul on the radio. From all this, it becomes clear that the game Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell does not attract the game at all, not to mention that the game claimed to be a full-fledged game.
Soon it all ends – and this is after four hours of play. It becomes completely offensive due to the fact that at the moment on Steam they ask as much as 419 rubles for the game Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell! While the original Saint’s Row 4 costs 499 (with all the DLC present in the game). To understand why this happened is morally very difficult.
Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell could have taken a decent niche if it hadn’t cost a few hundred rubles, and even if it hadn’t been a separate release. Even the sickest fans of the game will not feel the full enjoyment, as the game does not live up to its price! Being in Hell and playing the famous Johnny Get is not enough. The only thing you want to do during the game is to delete it and go through the series again.
